Vegan Cookies

Vegan Cookies


1/2 Cup vegetable shortening 
1/3 Cup Sugar
1 Cup All purpose flour
2 drops of vanilla essence (optional)


  • Take the vegetable shortening  in a room temperature.
  • Add sugar and shortening in a bowl 
  • Add flour and essence and then mix properly and knead the dough for 5 to 10 minutes until it gets soft and making a unbreakable balls.
  • Make a small balls.
  • Press each firmly in the palms of your hand to flatten.
  • Greece the baking sheet or cover the baking tray with silver foil.
  • Put the cookie ball properly with little extra space.

  • Preheat oven at 250 deg F
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden around the edges.
  • Keep checking the status of cookies at least 2 to 3 time during the baking process.
  • You can wrap the extra dough in refrigerator for use it other time.


  • You can add any nuts or chocolate chip if u want.
