Atte Ka Halwa

Atte Ka Halwa


  • 1 cups Atta (whole wheat flour)
  • 1/2 cup ghee or unsalted butter stick
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tea Spoon green cardmom powder (elachi powder)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups water
  • Dry fruits for garnishing 


  • Heat the ghee in a pan.
  • Add atta mix well and sute it for 15 to 20 minutes in midium low heat or until atta will change in golden color. 
  • countiniously steer it otherwise aata can get burn.
  • Otherside add milk and water in pan and  add sugar in that and boil it.
  • Add cardomom in atta.
  • Add boiled sugar syrup and cook on high heat for 4 to 5 minutes or till the water is absorbed.
  • Trasfer into srving pan, garnish with dry fruits
  •  Serve hot.


  • If you dont want to use milk and 4 cups of water only. 
  • If you are adding almond and kaju Dry roast that, it  will add crispi taste on that.
