Falafel is a Arabian food , its a Patties or deep fried balls made from grounded chick pea.


For patties

2 cups chick pea boiled(kabuli chane)
2 table spoon dry roast coriander powder
1 table spoon dry roast cumin
1 tea spoon black grounded pepper
1 lemon juice
1 tea spoon chilly powder
salt to taste

For cooking

Oil for patties or for deep frying
corn floor or all purpose flour for shaping patties


You can use Ranch, Mayonnaise , Sour cream, Tahini sauce, But I made white beans sauce 
1 cups boiled white beans
2 table spoon lemon juice
1/2 cup yogurt
1 table spoon olive oil
2 table spoon sour cream(optional)
1 tea spoon black grounded pepper 
salt to taste


1 cucumber cut into big chunks
1 tomato cut into big chunks
1 big leaf of cabbage or letuce 
cabbage sliced
any salad leaves



  • In a mixer or a food processor take boiled chick per, chilly powder, cumin, coriander powder, lemon juice and salt to taste, if needed add little water.
  • Grind it properly, Mixture should not be very smooth but it should be thick.

  • Cover it and keep it in a fridge for 10 minutes (kepping in fridge will make paste little tight so that patties will come in a shape)
  •  Take corn floor in a large plate.
  • Heat a enough oil in large pan to saute patties and if u deep frying then take sufficient amount of oil for frying.
  • Make a small ball of chick pea then roll the balls in a corn flour plate and then press it from the middle and make patties. 

  • Saute it for 4 to 5 minutes from the both sides patties should be in a golden brown  color .
  • Remove it and drain on pepper towel.

White Beans Sauce:

In a mixer or food processor take boiled white beans , curd, sour cream, salt lemon and black pepper and olive oil , grind it until very smooth.
Sauce is ready.


In a cabbage or lettuce leaf or in any bread arrange the patties pour sauce in that and then garnish with cucumber tomato and other cabbage and salad leaves.
