Navaratn Korma

 Navaratn Korma

Ingredients:


  • 1 cup beans
  • 1 cup green peace 
  • 1/2 cup carrot chopped 
  • 1 cup paneer cubed
  • 1/2 cup cauliflower 
  • 1 big tomato's chopped 
  • 1/2 cup capsicum 
  • 1/2 cup potato
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tea spoon turmeric (haldi)
  • 1 table spoon coriander powder
  • 1 tea spoon garam masala
  • 1 tea spoon chilly powder
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream or whole milk
  • 1/3 cup nuts (kaju, pista and almond)
  • 1 cup water
  • salt to taste
  • 2 table spoon butter
  • Chopped cilantro leaves for garnish 

For Tadka :


  • 1 tea spoon cumin seeds (jeera)
  • 2 green cardamom (elachi)
  • 1 big black cardamom
  • 2 small sticks cinnamon 
  • 2 cloves (laung)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 dry red chilly 

Directions :

  • Heat oil in the pan , add all the whole tadka ingredients , after cracking add haldi and coriander powder, add all chopped vegetables  saute it for 4 to 5 minutes then and chopped tomatoes and little salt, cover it for 3 to 4 minutes, open the cover and stir it and check veggies are cooked properly or not ,if its cooked add red chili powder and garam masala and butter.
  • Add all the  nuts and stir it.
  • Deep fry the paneer or saute it on tawa until paneer gets golden brown, keep it on paper towel and then add paneer with the vegitable.s
  • Add water and cream, cover it for some time , bring to boil and continue cooking until gravy gets thick. 
  •   Serve hot with rice, nan or chapati.
