Spinach Soup


Spinach Soup 


Ingredients: 

  • 2 cups of spinach
  • 1 tea spoon cumin
  • 1 small ginger
  • 1 small tomato
  • 2 table spoon corn flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tea spoon grounded black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup whole milk or cream
  • 2 tea spoon butter
  • 2 tea spoon vegetable oil or olive oil

Direction 

  • Heat oil in pan and add spinach ,cumin, ginger and tomato.
  • Add little sault and saute it for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Turn the heat off and let it coll and then grind it properly.
  • Heat the butter in a same pan and then add spinach puree.
  • Mix corn flour in a little water and then mix it with spinach.
  • Add grounded black pepper , salt stir it for 2 minutes.
  • Add whole milk or cream and water.
  • Bring to boil, stir again for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Serve hot.


Tips:

You can use 2 garlic cloves and 1 small onion, saute with tomato and spinach and then grind it.
