Lauki Ka Halwa

Lauki Ka Halwa



2 cups grated lauki
1 Cup whole milk
4 table spoon ghee or unsalted butter
1 tea spoon cardamom powder
3/4 Cup sugar 
Chopped almond and cashew 


  • Heat ghee in a pan , add grated lauki , saute continuously for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Add milk in that and add cardamom powder and then cover it for some time.
  • Keep steering it until it gets  thick.
  • Add sugar and dry fruits , mix well and cook again for 3 to 4 minutes until halwa gets thick.
  • Serve hot.
