Potato Puff Patties

Potato Puff Patties 


10 medium size potatoes boiled mashed
Puff sheet
2 table spoon coriander powder
1 tea spoon ajwain 
1 tea spoon dry mango powder
1 tea spoon chat masala
1 tea spoon cumin seeds
1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
1 tea spoon garam masala
1 small cinnamon stick (dal chini)
1 big cardamom (badi elachi)
1/2 table spoon red chili powder
some cilantro leaves chopped 
2 table spoon oil 
salt to taste


For Paste

Heat oil in a paste, add cumin, ajwain , cinnamon , and cardamom, after cracking add turmeric, coriander powder.
Add mashed potatoes, stir it contentiously, so that potatoes will not stick.
After 5 minutes add chat masala, red chili powder, dry mango powder, red chili powder, salt and garam masala mix it well.
Now stir it again for 9 to 10 minutes, potatoes should leave the oil.
dd some cilantro leave and turn the heat off and keep it aside.


  • Take a puff pastry sheets (you can get it in market)
  • Open it and cut it into how big u want, if you are not able to open and its too sticky so use all purpose flour.
  • Take a peace on you palm and feel the material you cooked.
  • Fold it and seal the edges with the water.

  • Prepare the baking sheet and arrange them on the tray.
  • Keep the tray in a oven at 275 F for 15 minutes or until patties gets puffed and golden brown in color.
  • Serve hot with any chutney or tomato-ketchup.
