Vanilla Cake & Cream Frosting

Vanilla Cake & Cream Frosting


1/2 cup sunflower oil or butter
1/2 tea spoon vanilla essence 
3/4 cup powdered sugar
3/4 cup yogurt (curd)
21/2 cups all purpose flour 
3 tea spoon baking powder
3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 tea spoon baking soda


Mix all dry ingredients first and set aside.
The cream oil , curd and vanilla essence in a bowl.
Then combine the dry ingredients with wet ingredients, Mix it well .
Grease and flour the pan and then pour the mixture.
Bake 350F for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.


1/2 cup luke warm water add 3 table spoon of sugar, mix it well
Cut the cake from the middle (horizontal ), spray the water syrup in the both the pieces .
Take 4 cups of heavy cream
4 tea spoon vanilla essence 
5 to 6 table spoon of sugar or by taste.


Grind them properly with hand mixer. 
Spread this on the 1st base, cover it by the upper one and then frost all the cream on the top and sides.

In this i used cream frosting to make water effect !!

This cake is for 10 inch round pan, you can adjust the quantity as you want.
