French Fries Recipe

French Fries Recipe


  • 4 potato sliced 
  • 4 table spoon corn flour
  • 2 table spoon all propose flour 
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tea spoon chat masala (optional)
  • 1/2 tea spoon black Pepper powdered 
  • Oil for frying 


  • Peel the potato's  and cut them lengthwise into slices. Dip the potato slices into cold water for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • In a big bowl take cornflour, all propose flour , chat masala, black pepper powder and salt, add some water, gradually stir in enough water so that the mixture can be drizzled from a spoon..
  • In a heavy bottom pan or kadai heat oil .
  • Now using your hand lift the potato's stick out of the water and wipe it with paper towel or and clean cotton cloth.
  • Now dip the potato's in a batter, and place in the hot oil one by one, stir continuously . 
  • Fry until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove and drain on paper towel.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketch up or souse of your choice.



You can add other seasonings like red chili powder , dry mango powder or any seasoning of your choice.
