Pasta In White Sauce

Pasta In White Sauce


1 bowl Pasta
4 table spoon butter
2 full table spoon corn flour,
2 cup milk
5 table spoon cheese
1 table spoon cream cheese (optional)
salt to taste
1 table spoon Italian herbs or oregano 
1 table spoon dried basil 
1/2 tea spoon black pepper
water for boiling pasta


  • Boil pasta as directed in a box.
  • Heat butter in a pan, add corn flour, stir continuously, til it changes color slightly.
  • Add 1/2 cup of milk first, mix it properly , whisk to prevent formation of lumps.
  • Add renaming milk and stir continuously.
  • Now Bring to boil , reduce the flame and then add cheese , cream cheese, salt , pepper powder and both the herbs.
  • Cook another few minutes, till it thicken slightly . IF the Sauce is too thick you can add water and bring to boil.
  •  Reduce the flame and then add boiled pasta , mix it well , and keep it in a low flame for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Turn the heat off , and Serve
