Beetroot paratha

Beetroot Paratha : A red paratha for my son's lunch box, attractive tasty and healthy too and the most important thing is  it could be serve with or without any complimentary dish such as sabji, curd or chutuny. 


2 cups wheat flour
1 tea spoon salt
1 table spoon oil
grated beetroot 1 cup
1/2 tea spoon carom seeds (Ajwain)
1/2 tea spoon cumin seeds or cumin powder
water to knead


Grate beet root.

 Take wheat flour in a big bowl and the add grated beetroot, salt oil and all the spices.

Knead it properly till it become soft.

Make  a small balls and roll it in whatever shape you like , My son wants a triangle one so made triangle one.

Roll it as much you want and then cook. 

Heat griddle(tawa) place the paratha on it, and cook the paratha on both sides using butter or oil.

Serve hot with curd or achar whatever you want.
